Scene ~ Carly left her engagement part and went to Jason's PH and found Hannah there with Michael, and the whole place redecorated... Carly: You better get her back here so that I can kill her. How could you do this to me? I'm trying so hard... And you let that bitch walk out of here with Michael! (she tries to go past him to the door)
Jason: (he holds her back) That's enough, Carly!
Carly: Let go of me!
Jason: Stop it right now!
Carly: Where's my stuff, Jase? (she starts to walk around the room) What'd she do with my stuff, man? Where is my table? (she kicks the table) Where is my chair? That I ordered from New York! I spent weeks shopping for this place so that it would be perfect. And she ruined it? You just let her ruin it? Just like that? What'd she do, throw it out? Is that the plan? Ditch my stuff and then ditch me? Is that why you wanted joint custody? So that you didn't have to deal with me? Is that why you let that tramp walk out of here with my baby?
Jason: Hannah took Michael because of you.
Carly: (laughs) Oh.
Jason: You have to calm down, Carly.
Carly: That'd be nice for everybody, right? That'd be easier. 'Calm down, Carly. While we take away everything that you have.' Is Michael calling her Mommy yet? Does she live here? (pause) Is that what you want? How could you do this to me? You are the one person that I ever trusted. How could you betray me like this?
Jason: I didn't betray you and you know it. Carly. Leticia can't work 24 hours a day. Hannah helps me out sometimes. I don't- I don't even have to justify that to you.
Carly: No, of course. Why should you? I mean, I'm only Michael's mother. Right? Why not let the babysitter redecorate. Any dirtbag off the street could do a better job than I could. Right?
Jason: Carly, there were a lot of sharp corners.
Carly: What are you saying? I designed a death trap for my son? Is that what you think?
Jason: I'm saying that Michael needs a safe place to play.
Carly: Where's my stuff?
Jason: I don't know. Hannah took care of it.
Carly: 'Hannah took care of it.' You let a woman who hates me come into our home and 'take care of it.'
Jason: Hey, hey. Hold on, hold on, hold on. This isn't our home. This isn't your home. This is my house, and Michael's. You had the chance to live here. But you chose to move away to the one place you know I don't want my son to be. But now Michael lives here too, and you're not gonna come in here anytime you feel like it and just start yelling.
Carly: (quietly) I bet Hannah never yells.
Jason: No, she doesn't, Carly. She's reliable and Michael likes her.
Carly: And you like her.
Jason: Yeah, I do like her.
Carly: And you slept with her.
Jason: I told you I have no interest-
Carly: Who cares! Why would I believe you anyway!
Jason: Well, then don't. Because who I sleep with is none of your business. You don't decide anything I do. Who I spend time with, who stays in my house! We're supposed to be friends. (she laughs) We're- We're Michael's parents, Carly. And because of that, you can always live with me. And I will always support you. But you can't tell me how to live my life.
Carly: When you kiss me I'm just supposed to forget about it?
Jason: A kiss- A kiss is not a promise, Carly. That's- That's not even where we are. You know that.
Carly: Where are we? You live your life, I live mine?
Jason: That's how it's always been.
Carly: Hmm. I guess maybe I need to make some changes, then. Maybe when I'm... I'm free of AJ... I'll just take Michael and I won't come back to you. So all I have to do now is find a way to explain to Michael. I mean, you know, my plan is not going to work. And, I don't have to go through with it. I don't have to marry AJ. I don't have to wreck his life so that I can raise my child with you.
Jason: You're right, Carly. You never have to go back to the Quartermaine's again.
Carly: AJ'll drag me into court. But you know what? It doesn't really matter. Because Michael is mine. He belongs with me, and he will always be with me. And you've already got joint custody-
Jason: You're welcome to stay here. You can move in anytime you want.
Carly: Oh, come on. Jason, come on. What? You- You really actually think that I would- I would live in this house, this - I'm sorry, nursery school? With you and your bimbo? First it was Robin, now it's Hannah? Where does that leave me? Jason gets Michael, good old Carly, and a bimbo to boot. What do I get? The maid's room? Did you really think that was gonna be okay with me? I don't even get my furniture? Where's my coat? Where's my coat and my stuff that I brought here and I asked you to keep it for me? Did she throw that out too?
Jason: No.
Carly: But it wouldn't have mattered if she had, right? Because... You don't need me. You've got Michael now. So the way I see it, I just need to rethink my plans a little bit. Maybe I shouldn't ruin AJ's life. I mean, not yet, anyway. Maybe I should just wait until... you get thrown in jail again because of Sonny. And then AJ and I can sue you for full custody and we will win. And then, I'll ditch AJ. I'll take his money. And Michael. And we will go where ever we want. And we will live where ever we want, in this world. (she pauses, then whispers) But not with you. Never with you. So, if you will excuse me. I have an engagement party I have to get to. I'm sure everybody's wondering where I am. Have a good time playing house with your little slut.
(She leaves. Jason raises his eyebrows and shakes his head, and sighs.)
