Scene ~ Michael's room, after Jason walked in on Carly accepting AJ's proposal Carly: Is he asleep? (her hand runs over his back and touches his hand, but he holds up his hand to signal her not to touch him, and she withdraws her hand)
Jason: He wasn't when I got here. But he settled down right away. (pause, he walks away from the crib and crosses his arms) Guess he's getting used to it here.
Carly: (she follows and stands in front of him) That he will never do. And neither will I.
Jason: (breathes a disbelieving laugh) You got what you wanted.
Carly: It's not what I wanted. It's just what I knew would happen. That's not an I-told-you-so... (pause, she looks at him evaluatingly) You're angry.
Jason: (shakes his head slowly) No. (but he is definitely NOT happy)
Carly: You know what? If you had just said-
Jason: Said- Said what? (pause) This is your plan. And I'm supposed to get out of the way. Right?
Carly: It's not forever. And I'll hate it, but in the end, you know, when we get what we want... It'll be... It'll all have been worth it, right? (long pause, he doesn't answer) Right.
